What You’ll Be Doing

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans for assigned territory to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Actively engage and grow rental business with existing customers as assigned
  • Develop new customers through identifying projects and target accounts. Conduct field visits and telephone calls to secure rental agreements
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships by discovering value propositions that benefit the client and enhance our service. li>
  • Coordinate rentals by working closely with branch personnel to ensure timely delivery and reliable functioning of equipment
  • Professionally promote the Falcon brand and value-added services to enhance the customer experience, ensuring clients benefit from our full spectrum of equipment offerings
  • Maintain accurate customer information & sales call activity within customer relationship management (CRM) applications software

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inside sales (rental counter) coverage as required for the assigned location(s)
  • Support telephone and in-person customer inquiries for rentals
  • Understand customer needs and recommend rental solutions; communicate professionally & effectively over the phone or via email.
  • Prepare and process rental contracts and other related counter operational tasks as needed

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum two years previous sales experience with a preference to the retail construction equipment or rental industry
  • A general understanding of the various stages of construction projects, and equipment required at each stage
  • Minimum of grade 12 or equivalent education
  • Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Customer service oriented, a self-starter, and resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • A professional demeanor, positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Proficient with technology; knowledge of Google Workspace, CRM applications and inventory management software considered an asset
