Prime Metals, a division of Misteelco Inc., is looking for motivated workers to join our team in Kitchener. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • 5 years supervisory experience
  • Experience within an industrial/automotive environment
  • Experience with forklift and crane
  • Strong ability to multitask multiple assignments and job functions
  • Good organizational and people skills – strong communication (verbal/written)
  • Good problem-solving skills (demonstrate ability in having manufacturing production knowledge and to work in a fast-paced, non-unionized work environment)
  • Dedicated, hardworking, and very detail-oriented
  • Team player with positive relations with customers and colleagues

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining workflow by monitoring steps of the process, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources
  • Make recommendations to improve productivity and product quality
  • Ensure that the production schedule is adhered to, assigning duties and resolving production issues
  • Successfully complete projects according to established safety standards and regulations
  • Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications
  • Monitor and maintain inventory

Rate: starting at $60,000 annually

Location: Prime Metals, Kitchener

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
