Prime Metals, division of Misteelco Inc is looking for motivated workers to join our team in Kitchener. It will be full time, Monday to Friday.

- Full time position
- Salary will depend on work experience and knowledge
- Hours of work steady days (Monday-Friday 44 hours of work per week)

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education preferred.
- 5 years supervisory experience
- Experience within an Industrial/automotive environment.
- Experience with forklift and crane
- Strong ability to perform, multitask multiple assignments, and job functions.
- Good organizational and people skills - strong communication (verbal/written)
- Good problem-solving skills (demonstrate ability in having manufacturing production knowledge and to work in a fast paced ununionized work environment).
- Dedicated, hardworking and very detail-oriented
- Team player and have positive relations with customer and colleagues
- Layout, measure, cut and shape metal according to specifications
- Read and follow engineered drawings or blueprints
- Operate various cutting and welding equipment
- Able to assist in loading and unloading trucks
- Be able to install fabricated product and troubleshoot any fabricated issues

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for maintaining workflow by monitoring steps of the process, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources.
- Make recommendations to improve productivity and product quality
- Ensure that the production schedule is adhered to, assigning duties and resolve production issues.
- Successfully completing projects according to established safety standards and regulations.
- Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications.
- Monitor and maintain inventory.

Rate: starting at $ 60,000 annually

Location: Prime Metals, Kitchener

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- supervising: 5 years (preferred)
- forklift and crane: 1 year (preferred)
