A leading healthcare organization is seeking a driven and experienced professional to join its team as a Senior Medical Manager. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Medical Affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing scientific education and support for healthcare professionals, patient advocates, and community organizations in a specific therapeutic area.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement a comprehensive medical plan of action focused on community engagement for treatment and prevention strategies.
  2. Develop and oversee educational programs tailored to community audiences, addressing critical topics in healthcare and ensuring scientific accuracy.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align community engagement initiatives with broader medical strategies and organizational objectives.
  4. Create accessible tools and resources to support community stakeholders in understanding treatment and prevention options.
  5. Provide leadership in organizing and facilitating advisory boards and community-focused discussions to gather insights and inform medical strategies.
  6. Identify and support community-driven research initiatives, fostering collaborations that align with the organization’s scientific goals.
  7. Act as a liaison between internal departments, ensuring alignment of educational and community initiatives with other functional areas.
  8. Represent the organization’s medical expertise by delivering balanced, science-driven presentations at community events, workshops, and forums.
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including proper reporting of adverse events and adherence to pharmacovigilance protocols.
  10. Stay informed of the latest advancements in the therapeutic area to guide strategic planning and ensure all initiatives are based on current evidence.

Qualifications

  1. Advanced degree in a relevant field (M.li>
  2. A strong medical, clinical, or scientific background is required.
  3. At least 2 years of industry experience in Medical Affairs is preferred.
  4. Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  5. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities, with experience building relationships and negotiating.
  6. Skilled at utilizing scientific resources to develop educational content and presentations for various audiences.
  7. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing workload effectively.
  8. Thorough understanding of regulatory and legal requirements related to clinical trials and Medical Affairs activities.
