Account Manager - Personal Insurance - HybridJoin Cowan Insurance Group as an Account Manager on our Personal Insurance team. You will report to the Manager, Personal Insurance and provide exceptional service to our customers and insurance markets by servicing and maintaining the existing portfolio. You are knowledgeable in personal insurance policies and products, a strong communicator, self‑motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment.What You Will DoRespond to and provide guidance and advice to policyholders through customer calls and email inquiriesComplete coverage reviews and recommendations and address client concernsDocument client discussions in the Broker Management System (EPIC)Adhere to customer service standards and proper use of activity codes and labeling procedures to ensure files are completeTake a client‑centric and consultative approach to provide solutions that add value to our customersContribute to department sales goals through account rounding (upselling) and referrals while maintaining client retention and relationship in accordance with department standardsWhat You Will BringRIBO or OTL license required+ years of personal insurance experienceStrong customer service and caring attitudeExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excelling in negotiationDemonstrates sound judgement, ethics and integrityExcellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office productsExceptional organization skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environmentCAIB or CIP designation (or working towards) would be an assetPosition expectation: in the office for the first 1–2 monthsWho We AreProudly independent and Canadian‑owned, Cowan Insurance Group has been a true market leader in the insurance industry since 1927.
