Reporting to the Learning Director, the Learning Coordinator will oversee the course administration cycle and support the day-to-day operations of the training team. They will partner closely with HR, HR Systems team and Operational teams to maintain the learning calendar, and work with various partners to ensure learning capability exists for current and future needs. Please note this is an 8-month contract opportunity. What You'll Do Here: Provide administration and coordination support of training courses to ensure effective and timely course information, registration and logistics Resolve challenges concerning the delivery of training programs between registrants, trainers, partners and external service providers Consult with client groups on new courses and logistics to ensure efficient program planning and streamlined course vendor relationships Manage the training team billing, material orders and training contracts Generate relevant dashboards/reports to provide accurate information regarding the administration, compliance and value of the training courses offered Support training projects by supporting administration, logistics, pilot planning and deployment Research industry trends and learning innovations to promote Aecon’s learning culture What You Bring to the Team: 3 years experience in planning and coordinating complex training session logistics & schedules 1-3 years managing billing, POs and invoices Experience working with Learning Management Systems is an asset Experience working with Virtual Classroom / MS Teams is a strong asset Strong technical skills (SAP, SharePoint, Power Point, Excel, Word, Office 365) Excellent analytical, trouble shooting and communication skills Highly organized to manage short and long term projects and respond to changing priorities and timelines Ability to exercise judgment in dealing with registrant issues and concerns Develop positive, professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers Aecon fosters diversity, inclusion and belonging within and across our organization.
