The Daily

  • In this role, you will articulate a vision, develop, and implement a strategy that drives cost awareness and efficiencies that enables the WBD Global Tech developer community to optimize their cloud usage

  • Lead and track the work of cross-functional teams to drive FinOps initiatives and projects.

  • Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to establish budget forecasts, monitor, and allocate actual cloud spend against brands, functionality, and business units.

  • Identify and analyze cost-saving opportunities through data analysis and financial modeling.

  • Partner with Procurement to assist with managing vendor relationships and provide key inputs into contracts related to cloud services.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on cloud spend, trends, and optimization efforts to senior management.

  • Facilitate training and workshops to promote cost-awareness and efficiency among engineering teams.
