Mechanical Sales Representative

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Outside Salesperson will be responsible for the complete sales cycle, customer experience, and overall wellbeing of the customer account. This individual is to call on, service, maintain and develop the accounts assigned to them. The position consists of providing technical support for quoting, preparing proposals for submission, processing orders, tracking orders and trouble shooting. p>

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Build sustainable customer relationships and trust with customer’s account through open communication.
  • Prepare job bids in a timely manner using Price and other suppliers’ software.
  • Schedule, prioritize, and manage Bid requests from assigned customers with Inside Sales Estimators.
  • Send out and deliver quotations by phone, email and in person.
  • Confirm products, sizes and quantities required for completion of project based on current documents, Site Instructions and Construction drawings.
  • Organize job files, contract and warehouse orders, and all necessary documentation for assigned customers working with Accounting and Warehouse management.
  • Resolve all account conflicts and project issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in job site product issues and resolutions with assistance from technical representatives.
  • Consistently improve the quality of our service to meet client’s expectations and to minimize costs and maximize the company’s competitive position.
  • Self-educate, and attend manufacturer’s factory / training visits, to ensure you are constantly up to date on the latest product developments and software tools. (li>
  • Represent EH Price at site meetings as required.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • Must have university degree (Bachelor of Commerce, EIT or P.li>
  • Sales Experience of 2-5 years would be preferred.
  • Ability to read Architectural and Mechanical drawings would be an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with a comprehensive understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
