OverviewJoin to apply for the Business Development Representative role at People Corporation.We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team in Winnipeg, Toronto, Calgary, Saskatoon, Victoria, Edmonton and Halifax. You will develop new group insurance opportunities for our sales advisors across Canada, targeting executive decision-makers in small and medium-sized companies to advance their corporate health and wellness offerings.ResponsibilitiesFind new business through prospecting efforts.Generate high quality net new opportunities and pass on confirmed opportunities to sales consultants in a team selling environment.Target executive decision-makers in organizations across Canada.Stay informed on market trends, industry news and our existing connections to generate interest.Use multiple channels to engage potential customers, including phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.Collaborate with the Marketing Department to leverage messaging and literature to drive sales.Use HubSpot as the source of truth to track all communications, next steps and transaction information.QualificationsAt least five (5) years of outbound sales experience selling to executive decision-makers (B2B).Proven experience using multiple channels to generate high quality opportunities.Highly motivated, competitive and goal-oriented with a passion for results.Ability to express yourself in English is desirable.Continuous learner who seeks to deepen knowledge and improve daily.Team spirit; understands sales is a team sport and helps others succeed.Integrity; strong customer focus and doing things the right way.What’s In It For YouLearn by working alongside our expertsExtended health care and dental benefitsRetirement savings plan with company contributionsHealth & Wellness offeringsMental health programs and support for you and your familyAssistance for the completion of industry designationsCompetitive compensationSalary details: The base salary range for this position is $50,000 – $55,000 per annum.
