Job Description Customer Responsibilities Identify client life and financial goals, assess barriers, and provide recommendations and ongoing relationship management. Refer clients to other TD partners (Wealth, Retail, Small Business Banking, Commercial). Conduct comprehensive financial reviews and build long‑term relationships. Create a legendary customer experience, delivering a positive first impression in sales, service and informational conversations. Offer sound advice and seek continuous improvement of customer experience. Support ONE TD by referring customers to internal bank partners when appropriate. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the real‑estate market, mortgage lending industry, and economic trends. Continuously acquire expert knowledge of TD mortgage products. Handle customer issues professionally and elevate to management when necessary. Demonstrate sales and credit knowledge and partner effectively within TD’s employee‑focused culture. Collaborate with District Manager to conduct sales calls and coaching sessions. Shareholder Responsibilities Meet or exceed monthly sales targets of mortgage products and services. Promote TD’s image within the business community through participation in networking events, fundraisers, and community groups. Support compliant reporting and processes following guidelines from leadership, audit, risk, OSFI, and other bodies. Leverage market and mortgage industry knowledge to deliver value‑added reporting and analysis. Exercise discretion in managing confidential information. Identify and manage risks; enforce escalation of non‑standard high‑risk activities. Monitor service and productivity, assessing efficiency and implementing continuous improvement. Adhere to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and keep abreast of emerging issues. Maintain a culture of risk management aligned with risk appetite. Complete all compliance training and attestations on time. Know and comply with bank and industry codes of conduct. Team Responsibilities Actively participate as a team member, promoting service quality, innovation, and timely communication. Continuously enhance knowledge and participate in knowledge transfer within the team. Stay current on emerging trends and grow business knowledge. Participate in performance management and coaching. Create a positive working environment supporting diversity. Attend team meetings, surveys, action planning, and training sessions. Assist colleagues with assigned duties and provide training when appropriate. Act as a brand ambassador for the business area and the bank. Breadth & Depth Focus on business development, customer relationship management, and sales advisory within own specialty. Possess expanded product/service knowledge and understand competitors. Recognize key business and customer drivers and processes. Identify referral opportunities of increasing complexity. Understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and market factors. Coordinate cross‑team activities and timelines to meet customer needs. Execute a moderately complex sales or account management process. Investigate and analyze alternative solutions, presenting findings. Contribute to sales achievement of the individual and broader teams. Communicate information clearly to customers and ensure service standards. Work under management guidance; may resolve problems. Report to a manager or higher level. Experience and Education Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in a client‑facing, sales, or relationship‑focused role.
