**Mortgage Assistant**

Remote/Hybrid Part-time Entry level position: Looking for a Part-Time **Trilingual** Mortgage Assistant / Compliance Associate (turning to Full-Time position gradually)

Hi everyone Our team at SmartMoney is growing, and we’re excited to announce an immediate opening for a part-time Trilingual Mortgage Assistant / Compliance Associate to join our team.

**Who you are, what skills we are looking for**:

- Have language skills: fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi and/or Urdu.
- Have superior computer / technology skills, proficiency with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Be highly organized and a self-starter, able to work independently and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate excellent time-management skills, and be able to meet/exceed timelines and SLA expectations from a customer as well as business-partner perspective.
- Demonstrate high-level accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate passion for helping customers, excellent customer service, strong interpersonal skills and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate the achievement of goals, objectives, and work plans.

**Education and Experience**:
A combination of education and experience equivalent to diploma / bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, finance or a closely related field, and at least (1-2) years' experience in the direct sales / customer service environment.

**What you'll be doing, what to expect (job profile)**:
This position contributes to the success of the mortgage specialist by allowing the specialist to focus on sales and business development activities.

You provide day to day support to the specialist in all areas of database management, administrative tasks gradually leading to become a fulfillment / compliance specialist (document review, income verification, and assisting with client communications, data input/tracking, etc.).
- Independence: This is primarily a remote / hybrid position, so you must be self-motivated, disciplined, and able to thrive without constant supervision working from your home office.

**How You'll Succeed**: As a member of the mortgage team, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment where you’ll make a meaningful difference in our clients’ lives.
- You’ll foster key relationships with clients: review customer profiles, engage customers in a needs-based conversation to identify potential opportunities and implement outbound and inbound telemarketing campaigns to capture new mortgage business.
- Develop, maintain and utilize pipeline management system to expeditious turnaround times and ensure high quality service.
- Resourceful self-starter with courage and confidence to approach customers.
- Maintains current knowledge of mortgages, other personal banking products, practices, and trends and integrates into customer conversations.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people, including lenders and other partners.

**Employment Type**:Hourly / Contract. You need to be legally eligible to work at the location specified above.

**Weekly Hours**:20 - 25 at start gradually leading to full-time hours.
