Be part of a brokerage where expertise meets opportunity. The Accountant plays a key role in managing the full accounting cycle for our brokerage and property management divisions. You’ll be responsible for accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.You'll collaborate closely with leadership, brokers, and property managers to deliver timely insights and maintain the integrity of all financial information. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional setting and enjoys balancing precision with problem-solving. Role Overview Full-cycle accounting for assigned entities (AP, AR, GL). Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE. Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations; prepare journal entries. Manage cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting activities. Prepare GST / PST filings and support corporate tax processes. Process payroll and related accounting entries; support payroll administration. Maintain capital asset records and depreciation schedules. Assist with external audit preparation and respond to auditor queries. Produce management reports, KPIs and variance analysis vs. budget/forecast. Identify process improvements and assist with accounting system enhancements. Complete ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required. Qualifications & Experience Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Currently pursuing or holding a CPA designation is an asset. 3+ years accounting experience — real estate, property management, or professional services preferred. Solid understanding of ASPE and financial reporting practices. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; comfortable with Office tools. Experience with accounting systems such as Microsoft Business Central, Yardi, QuickBooks or similar. Detail-oriented, reliable, strong time-management and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication; team-oriented and proactive. Ability to work onsite full-time and adapt to internal workflow systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
