At MASS Engines we are experts at Demand Generation, using scientific methods to innovate cutting-edge approaches to attract and influence our informed buyer. The Demand Generation Manager role is responsible for driving pipeline, as well as growing awareness and consideration of our demand generation solutions. You will formulate, develop, and execute direct B2B marketing initiatives to engage our select audience of marketing leaders at mid-sized and large B2B companies. The position requires a highly creative, analytical, and passionate marketing professional.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Devise cutting-edge B2B Demand Generation campaign strategies leveraging optimal channels and experiences that drive progressive engagement with our audience
  2. Measure and report on the success of demand generation campaigns, using metrics such as leads, conversions, and revenue
  3. Evaluate performance of campaign strategies, channels, and tactics to continually refine and improve
  4. Oversee creation and delivery of content that addresses audience needs in our areas of expertise
  5. Collaborate with leadership team on refining go-to-market approach, including customer pain points and core messaging themes
  6. Collaborate with the sales team to align efforts and ensure marketing contribution to pipeline and revenue
  7. Collaborate with Services team and clients to share effective marketing strategies and tactics, as well as to identify client successes for future content development
  8. Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships, grow knowledge, and promote the company
  9. Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors
  10. Manage all marketing vendor relationships, along with spending and budgets
  11. Monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis, allocating funds to maximize outcomes

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing, communication, advertising, or related field
  2. At least 1 year of B2B Demand Generation experience
  3. Strong understanding of digital marketing, B2B demand generation and account-based marketing
  4. Experience marketing to mid-sized and large B2B companies (strong asset)
  5. Working knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress, Marketing Automation platforms (strong asset)
  6. Working knowledge of social media and their effective use in B2B setting (i.e. LinkedIn)

EDUCATION

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  2. Certificate in Digital Marketing (considered an asset)

SKILLS, COMPETENCES & BEHAVIOURS

  1. Knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Marketing Automation Platforms, Google and/or Adobe Analytics, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and content management systems
  2. Working knowledge of B2B social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter
  3. Excellent attention to detail and strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
  4. Strong ability to leverage and analyze data and analytics to identify trends and make marketing recommendations that align with branding and campaign improvement
  5. Outstanding team player and leader, able to create an inclusive and productive climate with all internal and external parties
  6. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  7. Solid analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  8. Excellent time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
  9. Capable of multitasking within a fast-paced environment
  10. Independent, self-starter attitude with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision or direction
  11. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in cross-functional teams
  12. Positive attitude combined with the desire to contribute to the success of MASS Engines

  1. Professional office environment
  2. Using a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse for extended periods of time
  3. Travel within Canada and USA may be required for events and customer meetings: 10%
