Project Coordinator role at AtkinsRéalis Location – Mississauga, ON AtkinsRéalis is one of Canada's largest private‑sector nuclear engineering groups that has been serving the Canadian CANDU nuclear technology community for over 60 years. Overview The Project Coordinator reports to the Cernavoda Unit 1 Life Extension Project Manager and supports the C1 Life Extension project planning and execution team. The role requires continuous communication with the Project Management team, C1 Program and Consortium Partners, and entails identifying, planning, leading and implementing various scopes of work. Career growth may include short‑term assignments in other CANDU Energy or AtkinsRéalis Nuclear project teams. Responsibilities Responsible for the assigned scope of the project and accountable for performance that facilitates safe, quality, scheduled, cost‑effective and contractual completion. Coordinate with Engineering to ensure all activities progress as per project schedule. Coordinate progress meetings, status updates and other workshops as needed. Work closely with the project controls team to provide cost forecasting, progress tracking and performance metrics. Collaborate with procurement to support month‑end reporting and progress updates. Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure all project quality requirements are met. Liaise with key stakeholders – engineering, quality, procurement and tooling vendors. Maintain a positive relationship with client project counterparts. Provide status and progress reports to the Project Manager. Ensure that a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously.
