OVERVIEW

ATS' Global Services team is a dynamic, change-leading team that drives the delivery of value-driven Services to our customers worldwide. Services is a growing component of the overall delivery of value to ATS' customers globally and offers an opportunity for an opportunistic individual to create a well-defined offer structure of high-value service solutions to drive ongoing value.

The Pricing Specialist role will help lead the ongoing development and sustainment of a comprehensive spare parts pricing policy across ATS business groups, markets, and geographies. The role requires strong analytic skills, experience in market research, and decision making relative to pricing recommendations. Strong cross-functional coordination and collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups will be necessary to deliver the targeted results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Spare Parts Pricing Management:

  1. Develop and manage pricing strategies for spare parts, supporting multiple ATS sites and managing pricing across regions.
  2. Utilize tools to analyze pricing trends, competitive benchmarks, and market dynamics.
  3. Monitor and adjust prices based on market feedback, cost changes, and strategic objectives.
  4. Support the deployment and maintenance of price lists, including for eCommerce.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  1. Analyze sales data, pricing performance, and market conditions to identify opportunities for pricing optimization, leveraging 80/20 principles.
  2. Prepare regular reports and dashboards on pricing effectiveness, revenue impact, and profitability metrics.
  3. Present findings and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.

Tool Utilization and Innovation:

  1. Leverage pricing tools to enhance pricing accuracy and decision-making.
  2. Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes through automation and advanced analytics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with service, sales, supply chain, finance, and ABM commercial team to ensure pricing aligns with business goals.
  2. Serve as the subject matter expert for spares pricing, providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders.

Market Research:

  1. Conduct market analysis to stay informed of competitor pricing, industry trends, and customer demands.
  2. Use insights to refine pricing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Compliance and Documentation:

  1. Ensure all pricing strategies comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  2. Maintain detailed documentation for pricing strategies, changes, and approvals.
  3. Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. A post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a related analytical role, preferably within the spare parts or manufacturing industry.
  3. Proficiency with pricing tools.
  4. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and SQL is a plus.
  5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to various stakeholders.
  6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in the automation, manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace industry.
  2. Familiarity with ERP systems and spare parts management software.
  3. Certification in pricing analytics or financial modeling.
