As a Brand Lead, you’ll work closely with global creative and social teams along with external brand media partners to drive growth through brand fame, creative campaigns, compelling content, and impactful events that stand out in a competitive SaaS landscape.With direct reports including an Events Specialist and graphic designer (contract), you’ll be hands-on in executing campaigns while managing a growing team.Your key focus areas will be:Growing Employment Hero’s brand presence and awareness in the Canadian market, positioning EH as a challenger brand that resonates with SMBsLeading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver creative campaigns and initiatives that support commercial goalsPartnering with global brand teams and external media agencies to deliver high-impact campaignsOwning the Canada organic social strategy, brand partnerships, and major events to foster a thriving EH communityCreating an ongoing event series that establish EH as a standout authority on Employment in CanadaThis will include:Owning the Canadian brand strategy, brand media execution, and creative direction to grow the Employment Hero brandDesigning and delivering bold, multi-channel campaigns that cut through a competitive marketLeading partnerships with brand media partners, agencies, and internal teams to execute high-impact campaignsActing as a builder: scrappy, resourceful, and hands-on with content creation, design direction, and campaign deliveryDriving Canadian social media strategy and campaigns to engage and grow the EH community within a global brand constructAdvocating for regional needs and tailoring global brand strategies for the Canadian marketOverseeing production of compelling assets such as videos, case studies, sales enablement content, webinars, and in-person eventsUsing data and insights to inform campaign decisions, track ROI, and report results to key stakeholdersEnhancing our understanding of target audiences, overseeing content planning, campaign development and creative directionContinuously assessing and reporting on effectiveness and ROILeading and developing a small but mighty team, fostering collaboration, creativity, and ownershipWho you areTo thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way – operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring:8+ years of brand-building experience, including paid brand media management across agency, client-side, and/or scale-up environments5+ years leading high-performing brand, creative, or events teams in a high-growth businessA track record of building challenger brands, bringing creativity, fresh thinking, and bold campaign ideasHands-on leadership experience across digital, content, events, and brand media channelsA “get things done” attitude. You think big and work hands on to bring those ideas to lifeDirect experience managing external brand media partners and agencies to deliver integrated campaignsStrong understanding of digital and social strategy (organic and paid), with a focus on measurable resultsAnalytical mindset with confidence in tracking funnel metrics, ROI, and performance reportingExperience with marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo, and BrazeExcellent communication skills and a passion for supporting Canadian SMBs through meaningful brand initiativesExperience in SaaS or technology marketing across B2B and B2C audiences is a bonusWhat we can offerAt Employment Hero, we don’t just talk about a better way to work – we live it.
