As a member of CIBC’s team, the Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition is responsible for planning, sourcing, assessing, and qualifying external candidates in collaboration with Talent Acquisition Partners to support business plans and goals in compliance with regulatory requirements, policies and procedures. The Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition exercises independent judgement to recommend the most important candidate skills, using labour market knowledge to recommend process improvements. The role makes decisions on their own work methods to assess candidates using behavioural interviewing techniques to provide business partners with insights, benefits, and hiring risks.

Relationship management - Build and maintain strong professional relationships with leaders, internal partners, and candidates. Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience by managing your talent pipeline, acknowledging all applicants, and engaging in regular communication. Consult with business partners on Talent Acquisition processes, activities and outcomes to position yourself as a valued partner.
