This position will play an integral role for ensuring accurate and efficient repackaging of products according to customer requirements and company standards.Although the primary schedule for this individual is 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, our ideal candidate can work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the business which may include occasional evenings and weekends.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for printing and coordinating product labelsAudit and ensure accuracy of inbound shipmentsAudit and ensure accuracy of outbound shipmentsMonitor and perform inventory counts on stock, material and suppliesOperate a low-lift pallet truck to move product (training provided in-house)Conduct pre- and post-production inspectionsUnderstand relevant warehouse SOP’s and systemsAssist with maintaining a clean repackaging environmentPerform other related tasks or duties as requiredCandidate RequirementsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.At least (6) months experience in a fast-paced environment.Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs and stand continuously.Previous experience within a produce warehouse or production environment.Experience following instructions in the completion of detailed tasks.Ability to lift and move heavy objects.Personal Attributes:Strong attention to detail and well-organized.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable working in cold warehouse environments.Ability to work well in a team environment.Equal OpportunityGambles Group of Companies is an equal opportunity employer situated in a heritage building at 165 The Queensway and encourages applications from individuals with disabilities.
