Applications Associate, Engineering

Position Scope The Applications Associate is part of our Applications Team within the Sales Department. They are responsible for proposing system designs, creating technical drawings, and drafting supporting documentation for the equipment offered. Strong communication skills are essential to clearly explain technical concepts to customers. Key Responsibilities Create 2D drawings of our custom products with accuracy and efficiency Check drawings for conformance to standards and design requirements Explain technical concepts to our customers in an easy-to-understand format Maintain files and records of all drawings in our systems Maintain and update existing templates Create draft analysis reports along with tables and charts Perform other related duties Qualifications & Abilities Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Sound knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel Strong problem-solving skills Able to travel to domestic and international job-sites Knowledge of P&ID and refrigeration schematic would be preferred but not required FPS Food Process Solutions Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
