This position involves ensuring the ERP system’s smooth operation, maintenance, and security, facilitating seamless communication and data flow between different departments and platforms. By optimizing the ERP system’s performance, the administrator supports the organization’s operational efficiency and decision-making processes. The role requires a blend of technical skills and an understanding of the organization’s business processes, enabling the ERP Administrator to tailor the system to meet Trail’s unique needs of the organization and its users.As an ERP Administrator, you willBe responsible for Microsoft Dynamics 365 administrative and technical support.Implement, configure, and maintain ERP software to meet organizational needs and ensure system efficiency, security and reliability.Troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issues, including software errors, user access problems, and functionality glitches. This may involve escalations described below.Provide tier-1 support for multiple customizations &/or extensions for the D365 platform.Prepare detailed documentation for escalations to tier-2 & tier-3 support.Manage system security & maintenance, and system configuration.Design, architect & communicate detailed solutions for complex system integration(s). Customize only when necessary and according to user requirements & business processes to enhance system performance and end user experiences.Review and determine how to ensure data quality using existing software control mechanisms, by reviewing, coordinating and performing routine maintenance and application updates as required.Work with internal stakeholders, and internal / external ERP development team in coordinating system-wide updates and installing upgrades and security/system patches to reduce risk.With the Development team, migrate data into the ERP system from predefined sources/templates following best practice methods & procedures to ensure quality, accuracy, usability & security of the data.Identify and rectify problems with work/process flows.Develop database standards with the Development team and ensure data integrity is maintained. This includes enforcing data integrity and security policies to protect sensitive information.Make recommendations for system improvement.Troubleshoot issues & outages and conduct regular audits to optimize ERP system.Create and manage system documentation & reports.Work with business stakeholders and vendors to manage licensing.Prepare training materials and train new system users & set up accounts based on roles & permissions. This may include developing standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and leading training sessions.The experience we need…Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with enterprise ERP and/or CRM systems, ideally, Microsoft Dynamics D365.Superior analytical skills to understand and document business workflows that support smooth ERP system performance and operations.
