Qualitative Usability Researcher

Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct in-depth interviews, benchmarking studies, and usability tests with customers to understand their workflows, pain points, goals, and motivations.
Document the output of the interviews in well-organized and detailed notes.
Analyze the qualitative data to identify patterns, themes, and opportunities for improvement.
Create presentations and reports to communicate the findings and recommendations to engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the research insights are incorporated into the product development process.
Experience:
Verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer empathy.
Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Expertise in qualitative research methods, such as interviewing, benchmarking studies, usability testing (moderated and unmoderated).
Microsoft Office Suite (Powerpoint, Word, Excel etc)
Statistical Analysis Software (R, SPSS or equivalent)
Proficiency in qualitative data analysis.
Experience in creating compelling presentations and reports using tools such as PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or equivalent training required.
5-7 years of experience working as a UX Researcher on consumer products required.
