Job Summary We are hiring a dynamic, passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who wants to be part of the transformational change in home and community care by providing care in a truly client‑centered approach. You will work in an environment that puts the care team in the driving seat, offering a high level of professional autonomy and responsibility. You will provide services to a roster of clients in the community and participate in collaborative joint care planning focused on client‑centered goals, addressing the physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual domains. Independent contract or employment options are available. This is a virtual role. You will be accountable for the care and services you provide and the outcomes your clients achieve. Formulate goals and recommendations. Plan and implement client‑centered, goal‑directed treatment programs. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech‑Language Pathologists of Ontario. Recent experience managing patients in acute/rehab or community‑based rehabilitation programs is preferred. Reliable, flexible, creative, self‑directed professional who works effectively and collaboratively with rehab assistants and a high‑performance interdisciplinary team. Sound knowledge of community resources is an asset. Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Positive work and attendance record. Ability to adapt to new computer applications. Hybrid work approach: remote with clients in acute/rehab or community‑based settings. A vehicle, valid driver’s license, and travel ability.
