POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated engineering co-op student specializing in mechanical or electrical engineering with a background in statistical analysis. As a Junior Engineering Process Control Specialist, you will support Six Sigma and Red X initiatives, applying DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to improve processes. Responsibilities include data analysis, root cause identification, solution implementation, and contributing to design changes, testing, and process control improvements. Apply the DMAIC methodology to improve engineering processes. Collect and analyze data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes and develop solutions. Assist in the development and implementation of process control measures. Contribute to design changes and testing activities. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary engineering program and eligible for co-op placement. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design software (e.g., Unigraphics/Siemens NX, AutoCAD) is an asset. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Previous manufacturing experience is an asset. OUR WHY: We exist to move people.
