POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented mechanical and electrical engineering co-op students to join our Production Engineering team. As a Student Designer, you will support production processes, assist in resolving engineering challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement and design projects across multiple disciplines. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in a collaborative manufacturing environment focused on innovation and sustainable transportation.

What you will do

- Use CAD software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks) to develop and refine designs.
- Assist in creating and releasing engineering drawings and documentation.
- Conduct engineering calculations and research to support design decisions.
- Prepare for and support testing activities, including data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with the team to improve processes and drive innovation.

What you need to be successful

- Currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary engineering program and eligible for co-op placement.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design software (e.g., Unigraphics/Siemens NX, AutoCAD) is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
