Currently, we are looking to Hire a General Manager at our Cobourg Kia Location as our current General Manager is retiring from the Automotive Industry after 20 years at the store.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing an automotive dealership with knowledge of fixed operations and a proven track record of building a successful sales department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Overseeing daily operations of the business

Creating new strategies for growth and putting them into practice

Overseeing the budget and managing expenses

Training new staff and lower-level managers

Hiring and terminating employees

Evaluating productivity and performance and implementing strategies for improvement

Keeping reports of business and employee performance

Coordinating several teams and communicating with clients

Requirements:

Must have 2+ years in a General Manager position or 5+ years in a General Sales Manager or Fixed Operations position

Must have a valid OMVIC license

Must have a proven track record for sales performance, financial statement knowledge and proven fiscal responsibility, and a proven ability to create a culture of inclusion, growth and loyalty within their employee base

Remuneration:

This is a Salary base plus Bonus position

Salary range is $80,000 to $95,000 based on experience

Bonus range is varied (monthly, and annually) and the estimated earnings overall are $95,000 to $205,000 annually (based on performance)

Overall Annual Income is estimated at $175,000 to $300,000 (bonus income is dependent on performance)
