Career Opportunity

Drive Autogroup is currently seeking an experienced and accredited Group Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll functions across the entire group. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in payroll management and be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while managing a team of 6-7 payroll administrators.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and manage all payroll operations for Drive Autogroup, ensuring compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
  2. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of payroll administrators, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  3. Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, including salary, bonuses, and commissions.
  4. Implement and maintain payroll systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  5. Conduct regular audits of payroll processes and data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  6. Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and resolve any payroll discrepancies.
  7. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure alignment on payroll policies and procedures.
  8. Stay updated on payroll legislation and best practices to recommend improvements and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Accredited Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification.
  3. Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a group or multi-entity environment.
  4. Experience with Payworks.
  5. Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
