Account Executive, Mid-Market (North & South America)Full Time · Sales · RemoteAbout MotionMotion is growing fast (3x YoY), our product is sticky, and we recently raised $30M in Series B funding. We've doubled our headcount this year and have just under 60 team members.We’ve built a new category of software to bridge the gap between performance marketers and creative teams. Our platform combines creative analytics, research, and strategy. Motion is the command center for Creative Strategists.Our customers include top e-commerce and DTC brands like Vuori, True Classic, The Farmer’s Dog, HexClad, and thousands more. They’ve used Motion to analyze over $6B in media spend.As an early member of our sales team, you will be expected to set the standard for success at Motion. Our Head of Business Development views our early hires as future company leaders.We refer to this role internally as an Account Executive, Mid-Market.About the role:Drive net new and expansion revenueManage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closeApproach clients as future partners, focusing on collaboration rather than just closing dealsAdvise prospects on implementing effective Performance Creative processes using MotionUse a consultative selling approach to help teams see how Motion addresses their workflow challengesWho you are:Business development experience at a performance marketing agencyReside in Canada (preferably Greater Toronto Area) or the United StatesContinuously seek to improve your skillsExcellent self-reflection skills with ideas for improvementStrong presentation skills; experience in public speaking or theatre is a plusHumility and a focus on growth, avoiding egoTrustworthy and immediately likableAmbitious and hardworkingCritical thinker with well-formed opinions about the role, team, and organizationWhat you'll love about Motion:RolePredominantly inbound (currently 100%), with about 60% outbound hunting for larger dealsComprehensive onboarding and personalized learning planOpportunity to become an expert in marketingTeamCollaborative culture that values sharing opinionsAutonomy to make impactful decisionsTransparent decision-making processes and open feedbackOrganizationProduct-market fit establishedFully remote team with retreats (e.g., Lake Muskoka)Startup benefits: vacation, healthcare, tech budget, etc.Working with leading brands and agencies in D2C e-commerce2023 was a thriving year for Motion, and 2024 promises to be even more exciting with new funding and strong client signals.
