About The Role This role begins in the summer, focusing on hands‑on tutoring and mastering Oxford Learning’s teaching philosophy. During the fall, you will transition into a leadership role within the academic coordination team, supporting staff, meeting with parents, and managing academic programming. Key Responsibilities – Summer Phase Deliver engaging instruction in French and English for students from preschool to high school. Assess French language skills and tailor instruction to student needs. Learn and apply Oxford Learning’s unique cognitive teaching methods; model usage of the curriculum and coach fellow teachers. Build rapport with students and contribute to a positive, structured classroom environment. Expanded Responsibilities – Fall and Beyond Support and mentor teachers in delivering Oxford Learning programs. Participate in parent meetings and student progress evaluations. Help organize student schedules and maintain clear communication with families. Contribute to the growth of the French language program. Assist with centre operations and staff coordination as needed. What We’re Looking For Education: University degree completed or in progress (Education, Languages, or Social Sciences preferred). Languages: Strong English proficiency required; fluent French conversation and solid French grammar knowledge highly valued. Experience: Prior tutoring, classroom, or educational camp experience preferred. Familiarity with Oxford Learning or similar programs is an asset. Skills: Organized, adaptable, confident communicator with a passion for student success. Leadership qualities and a self‑starter attitude are key. Other: Must be available for a consistent weekly schedule and reside near Lawrence Plaza, Toronto. Vulnerable Sector Screening required. Why Join Oxford Learning?
