ADA Compliance Product Manager (Accessibility SME) We are seeking a senior‑level ADA Compliance Product Manager to lead accessibility strategy and execution across a large‑scale digital transformation program. You will be embedded in a multi‑disciplinary environment, supporting multiple product teams at various stages of the development lifecycle — from design to deployment. The ideal candidate will serve as both strategic advisor and hands‑on contributor, partnering closely with designers, developers, QA engineers, and leadership to build accessibility into workflows, governance, and product standards. About the Role: We are seeking a senior‑level ADA Compliance Product Manager to lead accessibility strategy and execution across a large‑scale digital transformation program. You will be embedded in a multi‑disciplinary environment, supporting multiple product teams at various stages of the development lifecycle — from design to deployment. The ideal candidate will serve as both strategic advisor and hands‑on contributor, partnering closely with designers, developers, QA engineers, and leadership to build accessibility into workflows, governance, and product standards. Key Responsibilities: Program Capability Building Define accessibility vision, KPIs, and roadmap Conduct gap analyses and maturity modeling Provide coaching and advisory to build long‑term accessibility capacity Acceptance Criteria & Development Lifecycle Define and manage ADA/WCAG‑aligned acceptance criteria Ensure accessibility requirements are embedded at both page and component levels Drive early integration of accessibility (Shift‑Left approach) into the design and development process Testing Strategy & Quality Gates Define and operationalize a pragmatic testing approach (manual + automated) Collaborate on CI/CD integration for accessibility gates Identify and address gaps in QA or release processes Framework & Governance Development Lead creation of a WCAG 2.2 criteria matrix with corresponding verification methods Establish a reusable accessibility pattern library and design token strategy Support governance implementation across product teams and vendors Collaboration & Reporting Participate in regular standups, async channels, and planning sessions Maintain stakeholder dashboards, weekly summaries, and risk tracking Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in accessibility, product management, or UX leadership Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA, Section 508, and ARIA Strong familiarity with agile, SAFe, and DevOps environments Expertise in testing tools such as Axe, pa11y, Lighthouse, NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver Experience with accessible design systems, QA frameworks, and governance models Excellent communication skills and comfort with both technical and executive audiences Engagement Terms: Duration: 6+ months (initial), Jan - Feb 2026 anticipated start Commitment: 0.8–1.0 FTE (32–40 hours/week) Location: Remote (US time zone preferred) Compensation: Competitive hourly rates; Time & Materials model Inclusion & Accessibility Accessibility Partners Canada is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace.
