Business Development Representative – Remote - Ottawa Compensation: 80-95k base salary, 25% performance bonus We are looking for a motivated Business Development Rep to join a Canadian leader in architectural hardware solutions and build strong relationships with channel partners to meet and exceed sales targets. Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with existing and new channel partners. Schedule and conduct customer meetings to present products, solutions, and services. Demonstrate product features, articulate value propositions, and handle objections. Follow up regularly on open opportunities and ensure contractual obligations are met. Negotiate sales agreements and close opportunities. Document account activities and customer information in CRM. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support strategy. Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends; provide training to customers. Manage a designated sales territory, including planning efficient travel schedules. Collaborate with marketing, inside sales, and product development teams. Provide feedback to improve products, processes, and services. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards. Requirements: 3+ years of experience selling in any of the Masterformat divisions. Proven negotiation and persuasion skills. Fully bilingual in English and French, with strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Valid driver’s license and personal motor vehicle. Key Qualities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Active listener with problem‑solving abilities. Customer‑focused and able to troubleshoot issues effectively.
