In support of the Mission, Vision and Values of The Good Samaritan Society and Good Samaritan Canada (“Good Samaritan”), reporting to the Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Budgeting and Finance is a senior leader supporting all accounting cycle activities and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting is prepared and provided to all key internal and external stakeholders. li>A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Work Experience Seven (7) years of management experience in accounting and finance including budget preparation, financial reporting and analysis, capital assets, treasury and cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable and reporting.Significant financial experience including gathering and evaluating financial information and making actionable recommendations to senior leaders.NOTE: An equivalent combination of education and other qualifications and work experience may be considered.Excellent knowledge of governance, budgeting, financial management and accounting standards, both not-for-profit and for-profit.Expertise in external financial and regulatory reporting, financial information systems and processes, internal controls and fraud prevention, detection and investigation.At The Good Samaritan Society, Good Samaritan Canada, and Good Samaritan Delta View Care Centre, we believe that our employees are our number one asset.
