Job Description:

Ensures all work is in alignment with the organization's missions, goals, values, and strategic plans to promote high quality, safe client care. This is accomplished by assisting in establishing and maintaining best practice; assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating unit orientation, in-servicing and other educational programming; assessing learning needs; acting as a clinical resource; promoting client and family centered care; participating in committee work as assigned; participating in continuous improvement activities; developing and maintaining client and staff resources. Incumbent functions as a member of the interprofessional clinical team to promote effective delivery of client care, including regular direct communication and input from the unit manager(s) of Nursing.

Experience 5 year's experience as an RN in an integrated facility Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Bachelor Degree in Nursing, Master level preferred Other Education and Training Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP) Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable Competencies Basic - Interpersonal skills Computer skills Consultation skills Basic - Writing skills Basic - Leadership skills Basic - Organizational skills Basic - Verbal communication skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to research best practice Knowledge in community health nursing theory and principles Ability to prioritize, interpret and respond to issues in a timely manner Ability to work in a collaborative and consultative manner Ability to take initiative Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
