Corporate/Securities Legal Administrative Assistant and Paralegal

About Our Client Our client is currently on the lookout for an experienced Securities Legal Administrative Assistant and a Paralegal to join their excellent team. Located in the Heart of Downtown Vancouver, our client is known for their exceptional client services and dedication to their people. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity and be able to assist with a variety of tasks pertaining to Securities Law.
Duties and Responsibilities ●Project management for the practice including prioritizing daily tasks, maintaining a Bring Forward system, scheduling meetings, etc., ●File management including organizing and managing documents ●Time entry, billing of accounts, and receivable follow-up ●Prepare, draft and review standard corporate and securities transactions ●SEDAR, SEDI, TSX and other filings ●Other general administrative and administrative support services as require
Education and Qualifications ●Legal Administrative Assistant Certification/Paralegal Certificate ●4-5+ Years of Experience as a Securities/Corporate Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal ●Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite ●Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with all levels of an organization ●A self-starter who is comfortable with taking responsibility and enjoys working as part of a team ●Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail
