WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH You will report to the Head, Finance and Operations and will build and maintain relationships with teams across MFAM, the Mastercard Foundation, external consultants and vendors. WHAT YOU’LL DO This is a unique opportunity to be involved in starting up a world-class organization that will have global impact. You will be accountable for establishing, implementing and operating a target operating model for the treasury and middle office functions. Accountabilities include: Managing the overall liquidity of the Foundation’s investment portfolio to meet the Foundation’s ongoing funding requirements as well as investment portfolio funding needs Leading MFAM’s operational due diligence function Delivery of investment related reporting and data to enable MFAM’s investment decision making and risk management including performance, risk and associated board reporting Establishing and maintaining strategic vendor partnerships required to support the accountabilities above Attracting, developing and retaining a high performing treasury and middle office team

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 10-15 years of experience in relevant middle office and investment operations functions in the asset management industry 5-8 years of people leadership experience Deep knowledge of the end-to-end investment life cycle across multiple asset classes including associated processes, risks and controls Deep experience in servicing, collaborating and managing the expectations of front office/investment team members Deep experience partnering with peer functions and vendors to manage and deliver cross-functional outcomes for an investment team and organization CFA or CPA designation Experience with process excellence frameworks (e.g. lean) and real-world application of process excellence principles and tools is an asset Good working knowledge of data management practices, processes and supporting technology is an asset
