In this hands-on role, you will support daily operations across the Food Court, Coffee Market, and the Eighty-Eight Bar & Grill, while supporting Catering services and other WinSport outlet locations including Hockey House and the Garden Café.Working closely with the F&B Manager, you will help shape a consistent, high-quality guest experience, while ensuring smooth service, strong inventory practices, and a well-supported frontline team.If you are ready to grow your leadership career and be part of something bold and new, this is your chance to make an impact from day oneYou strive to approach your work to align with our 4 key behaviours which are at the core ofwho we are and what we do at WinSport.We are SafeWe are WelcomingWe are InspiringAnd we areCreativeWhat you will be doing:Build and lead a cohesive, high-performing team by delivering clear training, ongoing coaching, and fostering daily engagement.Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management in collaboration with our Team & Culture Department.Promote a positive and inclusive work environment where team members feel supported and motivated.Collaborate with other Food & Beverage Department heads to develop effective weekly schedules.Guest Experience & Service ExcellenceChampion exceptional customer service by responding to guest needs and concerns with professionalism and urgency.Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects WinSport’s commitment to excellence.Ensure that all front-of-house operations meet or exceed service standards.Operations & LogisticsOversee procurement, receiving, and management of inventory across outlets.Conduct accurate monthly inventory counts of beverages and packaged goods.Ensure availability of cash floats and maintain secure cash handling practices.Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of all service areas and equipment.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events and daily operations.Health & SafetyPromote and uphold all safety practices in accordance with WinSport policies and OH&S protocols.Lead safety orientations for new and returning team members, reinforcing a safety-first culture.Identify and report safety hazards immediately, taking proactive steps to prevent incidents.Update, distribute and submit weekly Toolbox talks.Stay current with all OH&S notices and ensure team compliance.What you bring:ExperienceGrade 12 education or equivalent.Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role.Proven strong customer service experience in the service industry.SkillsStrong leadership and people management skills.Excellent communication and people skills.Proficiency in organizational and time management.Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.Financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.Knowledge of Cocktail and beverage menu creation is an asset.Knowledge in operating point of sale systems at a management level is an asset.Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office.CertificationProServe CertificationFood safety certifications such as ServSafe or equivalent.Any other relevant certifications related to hospitality management or food and beverage operations.Class 5 Drivers LicensePhysical DemandsFlexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work in a demanding environment and handle pressure effectively.Working conditions may include either hot or cold environments.Must be able to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs. frequentlyMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to kneel or squat frequentlyMust have full mobility of shoulders, arms, and handsMust be able to work long hours at a computerWhat We Can Offer You:If an unforgettable experience working alongside an amazing team wasn’t enough, as a WinSport Team Member you also receive the added benefits of:Free Park passFree parkingReciprocals at other ski resortsFood, beverage, retail and program discountsAccess to our world-class gym facilityDiscover, Develop, and Excel with WinSport:Working with WinSport means you will create one of the unique winter sport institutes in the world.
