**Position Title**:Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

**Position Location**:919 - 50th Ave. S.W. Calgary, AB

**Position Description**

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in collaboration works directly with the Food & Beverage Manager, to guide, coordinating, training, and leading the F&B team in all areas of front of house service. They support and oversee all aspects of F&B operations and takes responsibility for completing administrative duties as assigned.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage, guide and mentor staff to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Ensuring the highest standards of the club are upheld.
- Oversees operations, whiling ensuring F&B policies, standards and procedures are maintained.
- Provide, direct on the floor leadership and guidance to staff and supervisors during events and daily service.
- Maintain ongoing communication to all related parties to ensure effective and exceptional service is delivered.
- Assist with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, succession planning and HR planning.
- The ability to develop on-the-job training programs that cater the needs of all employees.
- Ensure team members are well versed to anticipate members needs, by delivering responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
- Coordinates and supports with room setup, teardown and cleaning.
- Consistently ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.

**Qualifications**
- 2 years of previous managerial or supervisory experience.
- Previous customer service experience with outstanding attention to detail, with private club experience being considered an asset.
- A diplomatic, outgoing personality able to develop and maintain relationships with members, their guests and your fellow team members.
