Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Billing Analyst is located in Markham, ON and typically reports directly to the Team Lead, Billing or designate. Coordinating processes with multiple regional Coding and reconciling payments to JDE Accurate invoicing of customers, thereby reducing the number of complaints from customers regarding billing errors Preparing documentation to assist Accounts Receivable/Payable (e.g., Invoices, Purchase Orders, etc.) Timely review, printing, and delivery of invoices Engage partners in billing, A/R management, and collections activities Assist the manager in planning and scheduling Assist with material/equipment procurement Productivity reports Ability to analyze financial data Manage JDE Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Handle customer calls in a polite and efficient manner Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast‑paced, and changing environment Documentation control — manage photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing Investigate process systems/process-related problems/inquiries and recommend solutions as part of internal strategic initiatives Responsible for project administration tasks, including coordinating meetings, taking meeting minutes, compiling monthly reports, forwarding communication releases, and performing maintenance of project tracking logs (i.e., issues, change, control, etc.) Cost control Other duties as assigned Competency Requirements Maintains a professional demeanor at all times with fellow employees, vendors, sub‑contractors, and clients Ability to cope under pressure and maintain focus, dealing effectively with setbacks while remaining positive Portrays a positive image and motivates colleagues at all times to ensure continued success Embraces change and always willing to adopt new practices Holds self and others accountable Ability to approach problems logically, under pressure, and seek innovative solutions Communicates effectively (verbally and written) at all levels within an organization and with external parties including enforcing authorities Understands the needs and perspectives of both internal and external customers Promotes teamwork and collaboration Values and respects others, encourages and supports diversity Post‑secondary education in a related field Work Experience Requirements 3–5 years’ experience in facilities services management administration 3–5 years’ experience in accounting and/or relevant financial management experience (e.g., billing, A/R management, etc.) Skills, Abilities, And Other Requirements Strong understanding of end‑to‑end financial processes including a numerical aptitude Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel and Word Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to work independently with limited supervision Effective written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Strong written and oral communication skills Proven interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills Demonstrates a commitment to providing excellent client service by building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external clients Demonstrates ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively at all levels Confidence in ability to work in a highly technical and changing work environment Ability to work well under pressureDemonstrates ability to work in a multi‑tasked, fast‑paced, and changing environment Ability to work independently and with minimal direction Black & McDonald welcomes and encourages applications from persons with disabilities.
