Position Overview Merchandising Execution Project Associates (MEPA) support in‑store activities, performing merchandising project execution, planogram maintenance, overhead organization, and display/signage upkeep to enhance the customer experience. MEPAs are primarily assigned to projects, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient execution, and provide general bay service when project work is not available or as directed by the MET supervisor. They work under on‑site supervision, serving multiple store departments, building strong relationships with store associates, and delivering superior customer service. Key Responsibilities Plan and Execute Projects Plan the execution of merchandising projects with store leadership and the MET Supervisor. Determine the number of associates needed for a project and obtain approval from the MET Supervisor. Read and interpret directions to ensure merchandise is set to the planogram, project instructions, and general service guidelines. Ensure beam elevation changes meet set standards. Build displays and fixtures using basic hand tools. Order, install, and maintain display material, signage, and brochures. Provide regular project status updates to the MET Supervisor. Report deficiencies in Compass to cross‑functional teams for quick resolution. Capture correct hours worked in Compass. Merchandising: General Service, Tasking, and Packdown Maintain product presentation to visual standards. Straighten, clean, and merchandise product for visual appeal. Keep the most recent planogram adjacent to the product set. Execute accurate price and label changes, replacing incorrect, damaged, or missing labels. Maintain aisle cleanliness. Use store systems to access key merchandising reports and act on findings. Maintain bay service records and other documentation as directed. Execute one‑off projects as required by store, district, and regional leadership. Customer Service Maintain aisle cleanliness to facilitate customer movement. Answer customer questions regarding the store and its products. Partner with store associates to locate and provide necessary products for customers. Other Partner with store representatives to inspect returned and damaged items for Return to Vendor. Follow standard operating and safety procedures. Complete assigned training curriculum. Perform other duties as assigned. Strong execution and self‑motivation, delivering results under pressure. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills for multiple projects. Direct Manager / Direct Reports Reports to Merchandising Execution Team Supervisor. Travel Requirements No travel required. Physical Requirements Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items. Working Conditions Work within a set schedule, typically early morning. Warehouse environment that can be dusty and noisy. Duct openings leading to drafts and interior temperature changes. Minimum Education GED High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum Years of Work Experience 1 year of relevant work experience. Minimum Leadership Experience N/A Certifications N/A Other Requirements / Assets Experience with SAP – Score platform preferred.
