Responsibilities
Help in the preparation and design of all food and drink menus. Produce high-quality plates both design and taste-wise. Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards. Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary. Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation. Manage and train kitchen staff, establish a working schedule and assess staff’s performance. Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately. Assure kitchen personnel are trained in the best cleanliness and sanitation practices. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications.
Qualifications
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Mandate 3+ years of experience in the culinary field working in a reputable Restaurant/Hotel in their home country with supporting documents Supervisory experience is an asset. English - IELTS test score of 7 and above (International English Language Testing System) Nights and Weekend Availability to work. Ability to lift 40 pounds and no restrictions on being on their feet for extended periods of time.
Hourly Rate:
$ 23.50 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Terms of Employment:
Fulltime and permanent Must be able to work PM/Weekend and Late night shifts at our primary busy locations.
