span>Summary:
The SQF Practitioner will be responsible for the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF program at Cerelia Bakery Canada. The incumbent will work closely with the quality team to ensure all aspects of the company’s operations comply with SQF regulations and best practices.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  1. Oversee the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF system for our cookie manufacturing facility.
  2. Ensure compliance with all SQF Food Safety Code requirements relevant to our production processes.
  3. Integrate additional requirements per specific customer’s food safety program.
  4. Conduct regular internal audits to identify and address any potential food safety hazards and non-conformances.
  5. Lead and participate in investigations of food safety incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  6. Train and educate employees on SQF principles and procedures to foster a culture of food safety awareness.
  7. Stay up to date on the latest SQF requirements and best practices in food safety.
  8. Adhering to all policies, procedures and programs of the company (GMP, Quality, Food Safety and Health & Safety etc.) span>
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing with a focus on food safety.
  • Completion of HACCP training course.
  • Proven understanding of SQF Food Safety Code V9: Food Manufacturing and its implementation.
  • Ability to write clear and concise SOPs and Policies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
