Occupational Health and Safety Internship Program

The Morguard Internship Program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in occupational health and safety. As an intern, you will support the implementation of our Occupational Health and Safety management program and assist in creating health and safety informational materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in conducting health and safety audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with the health and safety team to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Support the creation of health and safety training programs and materials.
  • Contribute to the development of incident investigation reports and corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety legislation, including the OHSA.
  • Knowledge of provincial Ministry of Labour bodies and insurance bodies, such as WSIB.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
