If you’re interested in future Administrative Coordinator openings, please apply at the link below to be considered as opportunities ariseResponsibilitiesEnsure specific freight bill details are captured to plan for Inbound/Outbound freight movement.Entering of dangerous good information to ensure accurate placard requirements.Updating the trip board to signal load is complete, all paperwork is ready and trailer is ready to move.Provide manifest details to P&D drivers via handheld as visibility to load sequence.Ensuring Brokers/Drivers/Cartage have all P&D paperwork/info accounted for when returning to terminal to ensure freight statuses are updated accurately and timely and scan said paperwork to imaging database as required.Create new freight bills for spot and switch trailers.Ensure Brokers/Drivers are asked if they have any refused and/or undelivered freight.Review driver trip details and ensure all assigned and executed work are adequately captured for accurate driver payments.Any additional workload given as specified by manager.Key SkillsCommunication skills - advancedComputer skills – accuracy, MS products, TruckMate, web based programsAttention to detailsDemonstrated customer relationship skillsStrong conflict resolution skillsAble to work deadlines in high transactional environmentAbility to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleaguesResults focusedLeadership and team building orientation; negotiation and conflict resolution skillsYour Skills & ExperienceMinimum of high school educationPost-secondary education (general stream), or a combination of education and experience an assetPrevious Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation would be beneficial.
