Business Development Representative Minerva We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Representative to join the Minerva team, an early-stage startup in the fintech space. You will play a crucial role in expanding the client base by leveraging effective outbound prospecting techniques, collaborating on targeted outreach campaigns, and converting leads into high-quality meetings and demos for the Sales team. You will not only enhance the sales pipeline but also bring valuable industry insights and a results‑driven mindset, driving the company toward continued growth and success. The role reports to the Sales Lead and is a full‑time remote position with occasional quarterly in‑person opportunities. Role Overview Conduct outbound prospecting and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline. Collaborate with marketing to implement targeted outreach campaigns and maximize conversion from named account lists. Engage potential clients through email, phone, and social media. Manage inbound lead flow and follow up diligently. Clearly articulate Minerva’s value proposition, tailoring messaging to resonate with target audiences. Schedule high‑quality meetings and demos for the Sales team, exceeding set targets. Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities in HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, and similar tools. Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Business Development Representative, preferably in fintech or AML. Demonstrated understanding of the sales‑development role and a track record of exceeding targets. Familiarity with CRM software; experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Apollo is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic startup environment. Results‑driven mindset and a commitment to achieving and surpassing goals.
