This role locates sources for sale of company products and services, prepares documentation for prospective and current customers and ensures it is communicated appropriately.Portfolio Growth and RetentionUnderstand financial goals and expectations of company, and meet and/or exceed assigned sales and customer objectivesPlan, develop and implement NI and Modernization sales strategies to lead negotiations that are consistent with internal strategy while, at the same time, reflective of customer requirements and competitive offeringsAssemble and present information for New Installation and Modernization offeringsIdentify and pursue potential customers to drive and support strategic growth objectivesAnalyze customer needs and secure desirable business through application of company products and servicesSupport Existing Installations Sales in obtaining maintenance agreements and renewal of existing agreements through offering modernization solutionsSource, analyze, communicate and apply competitive data for competitive advantage to company, and provide recommendations for market target pricingProcess/Project Management and AdministrationDevelop sales proposals for NI & Modernizations and prepare estimates for the sale of company products and servicesAssure full utilization of systems and follow best demonstrated practices (BDP)Prepare and maintain required customer information and files in accordance with established proceduresWork in cooperation with Contract Control on sales contract agreementsAccounts receivable management for assigned accounts, and expedite final payment on new installation/modernization projects when the elevator is completedParticipate in company professional development programs to enhance working knowledge of elevator company products, services and proceduresWork in cooperation with Fulfillment Team to ensure proper project management, e.g. complete booking papers and design details, upload project data, material orderingCustomer and Account ManagementBuild and maintain favorable client relationshipsEnsure customer needs or enquiries are met in a prompt, professional manner through effective communications, and follow customer complaints to satisfactory resolutionInterpret customer concerns and mobilize the necessary internal resources in such a way that customer satisfaction is assured while cost and employee resources disruption is minimizedAssist architects and/or developers with application of company products through layout data and specifications What you bringBachelor Degree – preferably in Business Administration or Engineering3 - 5 years in elevator industry or related experience, or a similar industry which includes the sales, servicing and installation of capital equipmentProficient in MS OfficeCommunication: Communicate clearly and articulatelyCustomer Service: Demonstrate customer focus through improving performance; Demonstrate commitment to customer service through improving customer satisfactionNegotiation: Ability to negotiate both persuasively and effectively in a tactful manner so as to gain customers’ acceptancePersuasion: Motivate customers to act or react in a manner to support business growthPresentation: Ability to present materials clearly and engage audienceProblem Solving: Ability to fully understand the problem, assess responsibility, explore alternatives, develop creative solutions and negotiate settlementsTeamwork: Ability to interact with all levels and be an integral part of the operation What’s in it for you?Competitive Salary (commensurate with experience)Competitive Bonus Incentive Program or Commission PlanWide range of professional and leadership development opportunitiesCompetitive Extended Health, Dental & Vision PlansGenerous Paid Time Off PlansTuition Reimbursement ProgramCompetitive Group RRSP with Company Match We Elevate… Your Career Become part of our team and help us enhance quality of life and drive innovation while raising the bar for safety and sustainability.
