Our Valued Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Bilingual Facilitator Consultant to facilitate strategic and operational planning of a scheduled Retreat within the Public Sector. Senior Management within a Program are undertaking a strategic planning Retreat to discuss and review the Minister’s mandate, Program, and Senior business agenda. The key factors and drivers that could impact its delivery will be reviewed to develop clear and attainable business and management priorities. The Retreat also provides an opportunity to collectively review resourcing and budget allocations, ensuring the Program and Senior Management are well aligned and have resources to deliver on their commitments.
Objectives of the Retreat:- Taking Stock of the Year in Progress and Looking Ahead to -26: Seek general agreement on the deliverables for the remainder of this Fiscal Year and ensure alignment of the -25 deliverables with the mandate letters for each program area;
- Touching Base on the Hybrid working model;
- Reviewing the Financial Situation for -25.
- 10+ years facilitating meetings, operational planning, and presenting to Senior Executives in PowerPoint;
- Enhanced Reliability Clearance;
- Fluently Bilingual (English/French).
The Senior Facilitator Consultant must develop, design and facilitate the Retreat in September and the Executive Debrief session for both programs. The Senior Facilitator Consultant must:
- Facilitate strategic and operational planning of the Retreat;
- Attend meetings with the Deputy Minister and the Strategic Integration and Governance management team to confirm the objectives, expected outcomes, and approach for the Retreat and debrief sessions;
- Develop the process for these meetings, including agendas and the necessary documentation in anticipation of these;
- Keep the notion of time to ensure that the planned agenda is completed prior to the end of the allotted time or in accordance with an agreed-to modifications by the Project Authority;
- Prepare a draft bilingual PowerPoint presentation, followed by a final version, summarizing the Retreat;
- Present the PowerPoint to the Program and Seniors Management Board;
- If adjustments are required following the debrief session with the Program and Seniors Management Board, provide a revised version of the PowerPoint presentation to the Strategic Integration and Governance Directorate;
- Prepare and present key messages for the Program and Seniors portfolio Executives Debrief Session.
The Senior Facilitator Consultant must work with the Strategic Integration and Governance Unit, who will provide logistical and planning support.
