Reporting to the Manager, Central Support, this position will be responsible to clean up the insurance customer paper records stored in Regina, by preparing them for destruction or adding them to the SCIC imaging system.
- Sort the contents of the boxes into two categories – those that need to be scanned and added to the imaging system, and those that have reached their destruction date.
- Check each file on-line to determine if the customer closed their account more than 15 years ago and place them back in the box for destruction.
- Files that have not reached their destruction date are separated from the box, and then prepped, scanned and placed on the imaging system.
- Files that are eligible for destruction will be documented and approval to destroy them obtained from Sask Archives. Once approval received, the documents are shipped to Rail City for secure shredding.
- Files that have been scanned/imaged can be placed in blue bins for shredding by Rail City.
