SENIOR ACCOUNTING CLERK – ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

The Opportunity

You are a results-oriented team player, with sound judgement and problem-solving skills. Working in a fast-paced and demanding environment, you will process trade, Travel Agent, and Travel Pass Receivables, as well as extra sailing invoicing. You will maintain sub ledgers, produce invoices, and prepare related journal vouchers including confirming financial coding.

As a Senior Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for reconciling the general ledger to sub-ledgers, analyzing documents to identify errors, and preparing journal vouchers to correct entries. You will also respond to inquiries from Commercial Travel Card, Travel Card, Trade, and Tour operator customers, and resolve disputes related to customer accounts. Another key responsibility is providing information to customers regarding tariffs and Accounts Receivable and Revenue policies and procedures.

What you bring to the team

You have a minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education in accounting, including the equivalent of Intermediate Financial Reporting 1 & 2 CPA Preparatory Courses. You also have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance position. You are experienced in the use of financial software and are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
