OverviewJoin to apply for the Ocean Export Coordinator role at ITN Logistics.ITN Logistics is looking for an Ocean Export Coordinator (Freight Forwarding). The candidate should have 3+ years of freight industry experience. Should be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.ResponsibilitiesProvide superior service to customers in all aspects of Ocean Exports.Inform customers with booking confirmations and pre-alerts.Arrange collection and transportation of goods directly or through 3rd parties, locally and with overseas agents.Communicate shipment updates and pickups with overseas agents.Issue AWB, delivery requests, and releases.Assist inside/outside sales team with client requests and up-to-date information.Prepare profit share calculations and negotiate rates with carriers, agents, and related vendors.Ensure billing and collections are done in a timely and systematic manner.Review and approve vendor/agent debit/credit notes.Perform other admin functions related to the department.Essential CriteriaSuperior knowledge of the Logistics industry and key players nationally and globally.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to foster a team-based approach and develop excellent relationships with customers and ITN departments.A logical mind with the ability to solve problems creatively.Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.Effective communication skills (oral and written).Ability to work with all levels of management and support staff, and to manage high-pressure or crisis situations calmly.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to recognize how to maximize profits.Knowledge of Ocean freight operations, documentation, products, security, customs regulations, government laws, and equipment.Job TypeFull-timeWork Remotely: No.About ITN LogisticsITN takes your business personally.
