Customer Service Manager

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Customer Services Department. The CSM will provide leadership and direction to the Customer Service Representatives to ensure that an excellent standard of service is provided to all internal and external customers.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for overseeing the training and development of Customer Service RepresentativesMonitors the overall performance of staff to ensure compliance with policies, practices and approved customer service processesResponsible to maintain the department's relationships with both internal and external customers with exceptional serviceResponsible for escalated customer interaction on customer problems, concerns and complaintsFunctions as a liaison between Customer Service and other branch departments to ensure customer satisfactionAct as back-up to Customer Service Representatives as requiredOther duties as assignedRequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred5+ years experience in customer service or relevant business experience is required; preferably in a distribution environmentMinimum of 1 year previous supervisory experience, preferably in a call center and/or distribution environmentMust possess executive level communication skills with proficient PC skills to include Microsoft OfficeMust possess strong planning, organizational and time management skills, as well as strong problem solving skillsMust be team oriented, dependable and a strong leaderMust be able to multi-task with the ability to change direction quickly and oftenAS400 experience is highly preferredWho We AreBunzl Canada Inc.
