Settlements Coordinator - Regina Head OfficeFrom December 11, 2024AGT Food and Ingredients Inc.is seeking aSettlements Coordinatorto join our Regina Head Office team.Duties:Manages workflow ensuring all purchase contracts due for payment are processed, approvals applied and payments distributed in an organized mannerEnsure quality communication and dialogue with producers and staffPerform effective verbal and written communication in person, by phone and by emailFiles, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, contracts and reportsPrepares weekly report of purchase contracts due for settlementEnsures all authorizations are complete prior to settling purchase contractsReconciles grain receipts to purchase contracts and identifies errors or omissionsReconciles regulatory and other deductions applicable to purchase contractCalculates and processes payments based on settlement instructionsInvestigates and resolves problems associated with settling purchase contracts for paymentProcesses cheques, wires and EFT paymentsPrepares monthly reconciliation reports required for the accounting month end closePrepares regulatory reportsPerforms other duties as required to support the accounting departmentProvide backup coverage for front desk receptionEmployment Requirements:Accounting diploma and/or equivalent education or experienceFluent in English - spoken and writtenStrong listening, speaking, reading and writing skillsAbility to multi-taskAttention to detail and accurate data entry skillsAbility to follow up on pending issuesAbility to meet deadlinesStrong algebra, problem solving and organizational skillsProficient in Excel, Outlook, and accounting systemsAbility to work effectively as a team memberAGT Foods values and supports employment equity in the workplace, including accessibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
